We are pleased to share our first annual report. The 2016 Annual Report showcases MMSW’s program performance, financials, new recycling initiatives and accomplishments over our first year in operation.
Thank you to our partners for your support and commitment throughout 2016. We look forward advancing our recycling achievements throughout 2017.
2016 Highlights:
- Over 36,600 tonnes collected across Saskatchewan, representing a recovery rate of 62%.
- 44.4 kilograms collected per capita.
- Executed funding agreements with 454 municipalities, Regional Waste Authorities and First Nations communities.
- 82% of Saskatchewan households received packaging and paper recycling services.
